Halff Earns Seven Regional Top Workplace Honors for 2025

Halff was named a Top Workplace for 2025 in seven regions, earning recognition from the Austin American-Statesman, the Dallas Morning News, the Florida Times-Union, the Houston Chronicle, the Oklahoman, the Orlando Sentinel and the San Antonio Express-News. These honors are based on quantitative employee feedback collected through the Top Workplaces survey.

The firm has now been recognized 11 times each in Austin and Dallas since 2015, nine times in Houston since 2016 and for five consecutive years in San Antonio. Orlando and Oklahoma City earned their third recognitions, while Jacksonville received the distinction for the second time earlier this year. On a national level, Halff was also named a USA TODAY Top Workplace for the fourth consecutive year, ranking No. 10 among companies with 1,000 to 2,499 employees.

Graduate Civil Engineer: Public Works

Location: Richardson, TX * Dallas, TX 

Contribute to the planning and design of public works projects by supporting the development of construction documents for roads, drainage systems, water and wastewater utilities, and municipal facilities. This position allows early-career engineers to gain hands-on experience working alongside Professional Engineers (PEs) while building technical, analytical and communication skills in a collaborative environment.

Intern: Public Works

Location: Fort Worth, TX

Support public works and transportation projects by assisting with design tasks, drafting, calculations and permitting under the supervision of Professional Engineers (PEs). This internship offers hands-on exposure to municipal infrastructure projects while building foundational technical and teamwork skills in a collaborative engineering environment.

Halff Community Initiative (HCI)

The Woodlands delivered collected donations and an HCI check to the Montgomery County Women’s Center, which provides crisis intervention, emergency shelter, counseling and support services for victims of family and sexual violence.

The Visiting Nurse Association’s Meals on Wheels program supports Dallas County residents who are unable to prepare meals due to illness, age or disability. Richardson volunteers helped spread holiday cheer by packing and decorating Christmas bags for homebound seniors in the program.

Halff’s North Austin office supported AGE of Central Texas by wrapping Christmas gifts purchased with HCI funds for 46 individuals. AGE of Central Texas helps older adults and their caregivers navigate the realities and opportunities of aging and caregiving.

Halff’s Culture

The Landscape Architecture team from Austin enjoyed an evening of team-building fun at Pop Stroke, spending time together outside the office and strengthening connections through friendly competition.

Halff Bag Travels

Stephen Moore brought his Halff bag to Australia and New Zealand, capturing photos in front of the Sydney Opera House and at Doubtful Sound in Fiordland National Park on New Zealand’s South Island.
